Our garden  is a food system that works together independently and creates food for people sustainably and efficiently. We have nine gardens two of which are the three sisters guild and the insectary.| The three sisters is called that because it has three sisters corns beans and squash it is a garden made created by the iroquois tribe. This is a great example of interdependence. The corn provides structure for the beans, the beans which fix the soil for the corn and the squash which keeps the moisture in the soil.| The insectary brings in bugs which brings in birds, and keeps pests out, saves work, time and money.
